Information we collect
For accounts we store your name, email, email verification status, password hash and session records. We do not store your plain-text password. For purchases we store your name, email, Indian mobile number, order items, payment references and invoices. Contact forms include the information you choose to send. Welcome-offer claims store your verified email, mobile number, offer acceptance and optional email-marketing preference. We record which free files you download.
How we use it
We use this information to operate your account, respond to enquiries, process purchases, deliver files, send account and purchase emails, prevent abuse and maintain records. Account emails are not marketing subscriptions. Promotional emails require the separate, optional checkbox; you can withdraw that consent by emailing support@builtonbrief.com. Your mobile number is used for the offer and payment records, not SMS marketing. We do not sell your personal information.
Services that process information
The website runs on Vercel; account and order data are stored in MongoDB Atlas. Hostinger provides our email delivery. Cashfree processes payments and receives the customer information required for a transaction. Card numbers and UPI PINs are entered with the payment provider and are not stored by this website. Service providers may process data outside India.
Cookies and local storage
Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Your cart is stored in your browser’s local storage. Basic referral information may be stored in session storage when you visit from a campaign link. A timestamp and rotation setting limit promotional pop-ups to once per seven days on this browser. An unfinished offer form may be kept in session storage for up to one hour so you can finish after signing in. We do not use advertising trackers. Browser settings can remove stored data, which may sign you out or clear your cart.
Retention and security
Expired sessions and verification records are removed automatically. We retain account information while the account is active, and order and invoice records for fulfilment, disputes and applicable record-keeping requirements. Access checks protect purchases and downloads. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Email support@builtonbrief.com to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information or account. We may need to verify ownership and retain transaction records where required. Deleting an account can end access to its downloads; contact us before deleting if you need a copy of your purchases.
Age and contact
Accounts and purchases are intended for adults aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@builtonbrief.com. Direct privacy concerns to the same address.
